BAL+MARS, BAL+SPE+CHDF and BAL +SPE+HP were better than the respective non-hybrid artificial liver support systems while treating end stage of severe hepatitis. Furthermore, BAL+MARS and BAL+SPE +CHDF were better than BAL+SPE+HP.
