CDU is helpful in the differential diagnosis among retinal detachment, vitrous hemorrhage, vitreous membrane, malignant choroidal melanoma, choroidal metastatic tumor, choroidal benign lesion or hemangioma, PHPV and lesions with white pupil.

• CDU对眼内病变（视网膜脱离与玻璃体积血或机化膜、恶性脉络膜黑色素瘤或转移癌与良性脉络膜血管瘤、永存性原始玻璃体增殖症等）的诊断与鉴别具有重要意义。
