Carboxy-PTIO (c-PTIO, a specific scavenger of NO) partly reversed the stomatal closure induced by ABA or H2O2. While catalase (CAT), a H2O2 scavenger, failed to reverse NO-induced aperturereduction in Vicia faba guard cells.
