Conclusion Most dural tails accompanying meningioma are invaded by tumor cells. The removal of the dural tail and the surrounding 5 mm dura mater from its distal site can increase the total removal and markedly decrease the recurrence of the tumor.

• 结论 脑膜瘤尾征多存在肿瘤细胞浸润 ,手术中切除脑膜瘤尾征所提示的硬脑膜及其周边 5mm范围 ,可有效提高脑膜瘤的全切率 ,明显减少甚至避免脑膜瘤的术后复发。
