In this paper, a one-cascaded Raman fiber laser operating at 1428nm, as the pump source for a Raman fiber amplifier, is presented. It is pumped by a DPSS (Diode Pumped Solid State) laser operating at 1342nm, the conversion efficiency is about 28%.
