The complex structures in Western Depression can be divided from east to west into faultd terrace zone,deep subsidance zone,upwarping faulted block zone and slope zone.

• 西部凹陷的复式构造带由东向西可分为断阶带、深陷带、翘倾断块带及斜坡带，其中，翘倾断块带是潜山油气藏形成的最有利构造带。潜山类型以断块山为主，但也存在断块-古地貌型复合潜山。
