The gold catalyst can be used in the thiophene hydrodesulfurization reaction. The effects of Al_2O_3,TiO_2-Al_2 O_ 3 etc supports on HDS activity of Au-Pd catalysts were studied, and also characterized with XRD, TPD, BET, and TPR.
