The present paper studies TOTs with Chinese learners.It shows that both phonological cues and semantic cues are significant in aiding lexical retrieval .

• 笔者以部分英语学习者为受试者通过实验发现:语音提示和语义提示在解决TOT现象的过程中发挥着重要的作用,音节数与TOT现象存在正相关,词频对其预测力有限。
