This aim of this paper is to explore the unification of Chinese Vajrayana Buddhism and the Tien Tai School and the essence that comes from the combination.

• 摘要汉传密宗与天台宗之间的结合，大致上说是一种体用关系上的互补。即天台诸侩常将密法密术用来弘扬怫法，扩大本宗影响，而一行等密侩又以天台思想阐明密宗敎义。
