The electrical responses of the somatosensory cortex(C-CEP)and spinal cord(C-SSP)to C-fiber inputs could be markedly inhibited by stimulating the periaquedu-ctal gray(PAG),and the inhibition on C-CEP was greater than that on C-SSP.
